Coach Art Field Day 2026

Bay Area Bright Futures Foundation is proud to continue its partnership with CoachArt through a $25,000 grant supporting Bay Area children and families impacted by chronic and serious illness. The grant helped make CoachArt’s 2026 Bay Area Field Day possible, welcoming 40 children and their siblings for a free, in-person day of community, movement, and fun. Designed to be inclusive and adaptive, the event created a joyful space where young people could build confidence, connect with peers who understand their experiences, and simply enjoy being kids.

Participants began the day by joining CoachArt’s blue, red, and orange teams and creating collaborative banners together. They then rotated through adaptive, sports-based activities—including soccer, wiffle ball, and relay races—designed to encourage teamwork, participation, and play at every ability level. With support from partners including the Adidas Foundation and Bay Area Bright Futures Foundation, families also enjoyed food, raffles, custom shirts, and athletic gear, including take-home soccer balls. Through events like Field Day, BABF is proud to support CoachArt’s work creating moments of belonging, confidence, and possibility for children and families navigating serious illness.
