This July, Bay Area Bright Futures Foundation hosted a fundraising dinner at Epic Steakhouse in support of Fam 1st Family Foundation. The evening featured special guests and NFL superstars Marshawn Lynch and Josh Johnson—two proud Oakland natives who, while in college, committed to giving back to their community. That commitment became reality in 2011 when they co-founded Fam 1st Family Foundation to empower underserved youth through mentorship, education, and real-world experiences. Thanks to the generosity of our guests and supporters, we raised an incredible $61,000 in a single night, all of which will directly support Fam 1st’s programs. We were truly inspired by the stories shared and are grateful to everyone who attended and contributed. Your support continues to make a real and lasting difference.
